As a small, private facility, Wrenwood Stables provides the very best in care and attention. We bring years of experience and knowledge along with a compassion for horse care to provide you and your horse with a farm you can have confidence in.

We feed a nutrition program that sets us apart from other boarding stables. We provide high quality coastal hay and feed hay 4 times daily to provide continuous availability of forage throughout the day and night. Horses are foragers and this schedule provides a feeding regimen that resembles what is natural for the horse. This is nutritionally superior and additionally, it helps prevent ulcers and emotional disorders that can lead to vices. To make the diet complete and balanced, we provide a carefully calculated ration balancer. This balances the generous amount of forage and provides the vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, fats, proteins and electrolytes that create the optimal diet for each horse.

Another important factor to horse health and well-being is maximized turnout. Horses love to be outside and they love being able to socialize with other horses. We let the horses at Wrenwood stay outside 24/7 as long as weather permits. Each horse has a stall for inclement weather but they spend the majority of their time outside in their well-maintained paddocks.
