"Daystar"

»
2008 Filly by Harmony’s Rousseau
» Registered Dutch Warmblood

Daystar is by the phenomenal stallion Harmony’s Rousseau.  Rousseau has been successful in many endeavors and has been especially successful in passing on his quality in every respect.  A few of his  successes include outstanding remarks at his Stallion Performance Testing in Ermelo, where he earned an overall '8' for his dressage ability.  Rousseau became the Dutch National Champion as a 4-year old and Reserve Champion as a 5-year old.  He earned perfect scores of '10' from guest riders Lisa Wilcox and Stefan van Ingelgem.  He won the 2003 KWPN Stallion Show as a 5-year old and represented the Netherlands at the 2003 FEI World Championships for Young Horses in Verden, Germany, capturing the Silver Medal and heralding the world's attention as a top dressage stallion.

This filly is out of a lovely Thoroughbred mare, Always Me.  She is of top quality as she is lovely, graceful, has wonderful movement and excellent conformation.  This mare has a wonderful temperament and passes this on.  Always was presented and accepted into the American Warmblood Society Main Mare book and has produced well-balanced, good tempered, outstanding offspring.

Daystar is a very promising young filly full of elasticity, thrust, balance and beautiful movement.  She will be an excellent international prospect.  She is a deep, rich, dark bay and has a wonderful attitude with tons of presence.  She is pretty and has great expression.  She is going to be large and has good bone.  Her conformation is excellent with a well laid back shoulder, strong loins, a beautiful shape to her neck, correct legs, and an uphill body.  And, just as important, she displays good manners and has a great personality.
